June-December

Planning and Sustainability: Detailed planning consent achieved for 3 luxury residences in Anstruther,Fife.

Sustainability: Planning consent achieved for a low carbon and passive designed private house in Crail,Fife.

Urban Design: The practice has been commissioned to prepare an Indicative Development Framework for the sustainable community expansion of a Village in Fife. The practice is collaborating with Rick Finc Associates.

Private Health Care: We have been working on designs for a private Daycare provider in central Scotland and Northern Ireland. The facilities offer care and assistance for the older community, dementia and people with learning difficulties.

Development Feasibilities and Market Testing: The practice continues to provide this service to existing and new clients.


May

We have been commissioned to start designs for a private residence in North Berwick, East Lothian.
The practice is registered with the Architect In The House, a joint initiative from the RIBA and Shelter. This gives homeowners a one-hour free architectural consultation; in exchange the homeowner donates £40 to Shelter, the housing and homeless charity.


April

We have been commissioned to proceed with a Detailed planning submission for the 3 private houses in Anstruther. Fife. Our initial designs have been well received by the Planning department.


March

In the early part of this year we completed the refurbishment and extension of a Victorian villa in Jordanhill, Glasgow. We provided a full architectural service for the client on this project.


February

We gained Planning In Principle for 3 new build residential properties in Anstruther, Fife. The concept for these houses is based on the idea of extending the existing stone walls of the ruined steading into the landscape and creating new spaces for the setting of the rectilinear plan form houses.
